New Heights - The Return to work Conference & Expo 2012

Q-COMP is an independent statutory authority whose prime function is to regulate Queensland's workers' compensation scheme. The organisation works with scheme partners such as insurers,  the Department of Justice and Attorney-General and Industrial Relations and key stakeholders, to balance the needs of workers and employers to ensure a fair and efficient scheme for all.

The North Queensland Return to work Conference 2012 was a great success!

Over 250 delegates had unrivalled access to thought-provoking presentations and workshops on the latest innovations in the workers' compensation industry.

Q-COMP was also excited to host our first pre-Conference networking event, including drinks and canapes, at The Townsville Brewery on Monday 26th March, which was a great opportunity for delegates to meet and mingle with key representatives from the workers' compensation and workplace health and safety industries.

The Expo featured representatives from leading organisations in the workers' compensation industry who shared their knowledge, new initiatives and innovations. This was the first year the Expo was held in North Queensland which aims to provide greater networking and information sharing opportunities to those who are unable to attend the annual event in Brisbane.
